I can arraign them sideways too.

I suppose it will depend on what I decide to grow.

Is this cool or what?

They fit perfectly!

Oh boy! This is going to be fun!

I’ve got 5 of these plant spa planters.

They fit just right.

I can plant all kinds of stuff in there!

But First!
We need to germinate some seeds…
I found an old tablecloth I could use to cover it with. It has a nice gold flower pattern on it.

It is thick so it will absorb spills and it does not matter if it gets ruined since it is just a frayed old scrap.

Here are some more views of the garden bench I made.

Much to my delight it even turned out level!

I can even get my feet under it without stubbing my toes!

Not bad for something I slapped together from scrap boards and some junk I had laying around.
Note the twin double 40 inch fluorescent lights above it. Two of them are warm white and two of them are cool white.
They are suspended by chains so I can raise then up as the plants grow taller.
I figured if I was going to do some gardening I would need a bench to work on.
So here is what I came up with. It is 5 feet long and 2 feet wide so I have an even 10 square feet of garden space.
It is just the right height for me and it fits the available space here just right.

Note the gravel to put in the bottom of the planter pots to promote drainage and the cfl light on the left.

African violet and organic potting mix with perlite.
