I put a thermometer in there and now I am going to put it under an incandescent light to heat it up.

All I can do now is wait and see if the seeds germinate and sprout.

I added a small incandescent grow light.

That did the trick.

The temperature is 90F with high humidity.

Water is condensing on the clear plastic cover sheet.

Perfect!

Note: The date today is February 26th.

I actually planted the seeds a while ago on January 20th.

I am getting a water temperature reading well over 90F.

What do you think? Is that too hot?

I say, what the hell, give them some heat.

These black plastic lids are working well. They fit tight and trap the water in preventing it from evaporating.

Here it is with all the seeds planted.

I am giving each one a drink with the pipette to soak the seeds and settle the peat.

I made sure each one got the right additive formula.

I’ve got it covered up with the greenhouse now. It barely fit.

I put a thermometer in there.

I put it under a 75 watt incandescent light bulb to heat it up.

I want to see the temperature over 80F. I might have adjust the height of the light bulb

and that should do it. The conditions in there are just about perfect for germinating seeds.
